The winner of Excellent Member Award also received a special talent fund of RMB 3 Million. Normally the member funding period of Youth Innovation Promotion Association, CAS is four years. After that, excellent members will be selected, who will be continuously provided a special talent fund from RMB 2 million to RMB 4 million supporting original research and academic activities to accelerate their growth into academic leaders.

The CCRS 2019 was held at Shenyang, from 8th to 10th Aug. 2019. Prof. Xia won the "Xiong Youlun Zhihu Excellent Youth Scientist Award". Ding Han, academician of CAS and Prof. of HUST, presented the award to the winners.
Our Team attended the ICRA 2018 conference and the Soft Material Robot Challenge.
This challenge provides an international platform to showcase soft robotics research and aims to promote state of the art developments in soft robots, and to encourage development of soft robots with on-field applicability. Our team got an award in this challenge for previous research in Soft Robotics.
