2019 IEEE International Conference on Real-time Computing and Robotics(IEEE RCAR 2019）was held in the Baikal Business Center at Irkutsk, Russia, from 4th to 9th Aug. 2019.

This year, more than 270 papers were submitted to the conference, and nearly 300 researchers from 14 countries and regions, including China, Russia, the U.S. and Japan were attended. Three Professors from MIREA-Russian Technological University(RTU), SIAT, CAS and Purdue University gave plenary talks. Meanwhile, there are 3 keynotes, 26 technical sessions, 2 tutorials and 2 workshops.

IEEE RCAR 2019 is hosted by IEEE and IEEE Robotics and Automation Society, organized by SIAT/CAS, and co-organized by MIREA-RTU and Nankai University. Prof. Fan, the President of SIAT, CAS, Prof. Sigov, the President of MIREA-RTU, Prof. Fukuda, Nagoya University and 2020 IEEE President, and other three honorary Professors serve as the advisory committee. More than 80 researchers in robotics and related ares from almost 10 countries and regions serve as the program committee. And Prof. Xia is the General Chair.

IEEE RCAR 2019 has offered an international forum for the researchers in robotics, mechatronics, control engineering and other related areas to share their latest results, innovative applications, perspectives of future developments, and to explore the opportunities of cross-border collaborations.
